Durand Chocolates

The name Durand might be familiar to you if you are a chocolate lover. Joel Durand made a name for himself in the 1980s by creating incredible bon bons with intriguing flavors. Each of his tiles was given a letter of the alphabet that corresponded to a particular recipe. What you may not know is that his wife at the time was working at his side in their endeavor. After their divorce, Brigitte and Joel decided to share the family name but to make a distinction between their chocolates with Joel using the alphabet to identify each tile and Brigitte using numbers to identify hers.

When we found these chocolates years ago, we selected 16 of our favorites and had them packaged in a delightful handwrapped box. Each box comes with a listing of the chocolates in the box.
